This web site is very informational.  It clarifies each states BLM land.  Bureau of Land Management (BLM) was established in 1946.  It has numerous responsibilities for millions of acres of land.  BLM land offers a variety of outdoor recreational opportunities, from camping, hiking, biking, hunting, fishing, horseback riding, off-road vehicle driving, boating, whitewater rafting, scenic wilderness areas, beautiful photography views, as well as National Monuments, National Historic and Scenic Trails.  The possibilities are endless when you escape to BLM land!!  -AnS
